Funk Culture began as a side project to an alternative rock band in the summer of 2006.  The three members Kyle (Guitar/Vocals), Josh (Drums), and Jonathan (Bass) were already rockin out together, but they knew something was missing, so Kyle forced Jake Robinson to drag his keyboard to Josh’s house (home base of The Summerside).  A chaotic yet awesome jam session ensued and the four members vowed to become a band.  Josh’s funky rock beats and Jonathans slappin bass lines set the perfect foundation for Kyle’s screaming licks and Jake’s blazing fast piano improv sessions.
No live performance has been the same for this band.  They are constantly trying anything new that they can think of to develop their own unique sound.  What you must know about this band is that they are best live and they want you to dance when you listen.
